Emenike set for Westham medicals, lands in London

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has arrived London and is reportedly undergoing medicals with the English Premier League side, West Ham United.It would be recalled that the Nigerian ex-international left UAE club Al Ain after his loan deal expired.

According to West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, the 28-year-old will become their second signing of this month’s transfer window after Sam Byram’s arrival

“Now we are waiting to see if it is going to be today, tomorrow or not,” Bilic was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

Emenike will be joining his former Super Eagles team-mate Victor Moses and Nigerian-born Italy international Angelo Ogbonna.

Also, there are strong indications that Manchester United could snatch Super Eagles of Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa from the Russian league, as Van Gaal’s men have shown interest in bringing the CSKA Moscow striker to the Old Trafford.

He would be the Hammers second signing and may be unveiled anytime soon.
